Ok so i got my long rod 4mil stroker in and now im looking for some paddles. Last year wiht jsut the stock motor i couldn get any traction wiht staright paddles but they were some cheap cheap paddles though. I think they were made by kenda. Anyways, FMF Gnarlys, v-force reeds, Hot Rods 4mil +5rod stroker 15t front and up 1 on the rear gearing. What kind of skat traks should i get? I dont need the latest and greatest jsut something with decent traction. I was thinking the haulers or such. We only go to the dunes about once a year so im nott looking to spend crap loads of money on these things. My wheel sizes are either 9 or 10 inch. how many paddles should i run on the tire as well? I know this kind of question will get 50 diffrent answers on which is better but at least it will give me somewhere to start from. Myabe one of yall has a set for sale? Thanx for the help

How long is your swingarm.

Your weight.

You drag race more, or do you want to dune more?

Is it ported? (Hope so)

Straight edge Paddles are the way to go for straight line, V paddles turn better.

Depending on what's done to your bike, swingarm length, etc....that will give us a better idea on paddles.

Stock swingarm length

215ish

both but lean more towards drag race

not ported till next year

I think with porting, a 4 over swinger that 9 paddle will be perfect.

It might be a little too much for a stock swinger...but, then again, maybe not.

The link didn't work, but I assume they are 9 paddle haulers?

I'm with Daj on this one. 9 paddle haulers on your stock swinger.

Should work good with a +4 swinger if you like to drag race. Won't hook super hard out of the hole but will keep your top end.

If you like to do short races or technical hill climbs a 10paddle wouldn't be too much.

The resistance will hurt your top end a little but if you run a 22" paddle it will ballon out and give you a little overdrive.

if u plan on porting it later.. go ahead and get the 9's

when my motor was stock (with bolt - ons) i ran a 22' 8 paddle hauler with a +6 swingarm (im 180lbs)

when shee got ported , i ran 22' -11-8 9 paddle hauler sls

id go ahead and get the 9's.... i like to run 8 inch rims, but if ur going to dune more 10 ' rims are better.

Should do the trick.

You'll have to go with extremes if you want to run 9 paddles in anything taller than 20"

21x12x8 9 paddle extremes is a good tire.

That's probably what I'll go with after I get ported and round up some extra cash to throw at tires.

For now it's 20x10x10 8 paddle haulers for me.

You have to go with Haulers. 9 paddle is a good choice.

With those mods, a stock swingarm and haulers, you might be fighting to keep the front end down on occasion, so you should consider a +4 swingarm. Try it out first though.
