shudakeptquiet
So, it happened, I threw my chain and never bought that case saver... you know the rest! Thank God it's just a cosmetic break in the upper case, so I feel somewhat lucky there. Already ordered my new chain and sprockets from RJATV (John's the man) and yes, this time I will run a case saver even thought it's kinda too late, just don't want next time to be worse! My question, for those who have already been through this, is how did you "clean up" the break? It's pretty rough and jagged looking now, I'm thinking I'll take my grinder or dremel and try to straighten it up a bit and make it look less, uh, horrible. What did y'all do? Thanks HQ! shudakeptquiet
Dremels are a god send. I have 2 and use them all the time. Oh hell yeah, I love my dremel, just wasn't sure if it'd be up to the task or not. Probably end up doing a combo of grinder and dremel... I dunno
gipperz
I used my dremel and then a sanding roll and cleaned it up and blended it so it looks okay. Still kinda sucks just knowing its there.
