Duramax
So if it was running with it disconnected would it be safe to say it has a TORS eliminator kit on it? Now that my dumbass connected it and not it is not running be the cause? Now that I can't disconnect it for some reason, should I just cut the wires? Bansh-eman
it shouldnt cause the thing to not get spark but if it was fine before pugging it in un do it and see if it fixes its self. If you have time you could cut all the TORS crap off and cleanup your harness alot!
Duramax
Okay well I decided to push start it and it started. It was only firing on one side. The side it did not fire on was the one I took the carb off. So I pulled it off and I think I put the slide back in wrong. So I tried to kick it.... nothing. Then I push started it again and it was firing on both sides. My only issue is now it won't idle and it seems that it is revving? really high. What now? Thanks
Bansh-eman
ok so your getting spark now... so now you need to set your idle. get it started and use the idle screws to set your idle.what jets did you say you have in them?

Thanks Sounds to me like you need to sync your carbs...make sure that both slides are open the same amount at idle and raise at exactly the same time when you push the throttle. Should be done every time you pull the caps off your carbs.
