Canadarider Posted March 9, 2008 Report Posted March 9, 2008 if u want me to call my yamaha dealer and find out when they come out Quote
R. Rollins Posted March 9, 2008 Report Posted March 9, 2008 The maier plastics are thin as hell, the edges are sharp and unrefined. I bought a set for my sons little TRX-70 and they show thin spots through them with bright lights on them. Plus they already have a crack and they have never been ridden with since they were mounted. I should have just spent the extra money on original plastics. The 2008 Banshee Yamaha original plastics will be expensive once they are available. However the NOS and New Yamaha plastics are far superior in thickness and quality Ill bet. Contact a Canadian dealer directly over the phone. They will in turn contact Japan for a special order. The parts numbers are not yet available through Canadian dealers as they are using the USA software ordering system for parts orders. You may have to speak to teh Manager of the dealership for this as the regular parts guys may not wish to screw with this process. I will wait until this summer then order some for myself. ....by then they will be able to get this in place im sure. R. Rollins Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted March 9, 2008 Report Posted March 9, 2008 I have a rear maier fender on the Banshee, thick as hell & was a bit tuff when cutting. Maybe the mold was too thin when plastic was injected? Quote
