Bansh-eman Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 i havent rode my bike with alky but i used to race and thats what we ran. to be honest the differance from alky to race gas isnt a ton of power that your going to feel. you should be fine running it as far as useable power, the main concern is the distance your able to go. Also the motor will run cooler so it helps against over heating in tight trails where theres not much air flow. Quote
06BaNsHeE Posted March 4, 2008 Author Report Posted March 4, 2008 No tight trails lol(Shearer BB OOF)Im only trail riding this until I get my Rhino Or A 4-Choke to beat on and look at my banshee and make it call it "Daddy" lol. Quote

Washburn Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 Thats funny as hell trail riding on alky- oxymoron? I understand what your tyring to do and alky sure hauls and is good for open areas close to your fuel supply. I want a Rhino more than anything. Im done spending money competeing with these damn GNCC guys. Im serious this time Quote
gregrob Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 Don't do it IMO, too much trouble for a trail bike, and fuel doesn't last long enough. Do you want to get 10mins from the truck and run out of fuel? If I had a hardcore duner that I used for nothing else, I might consider it, or a drag bike I would definitely run it. but for the average guy the gains just aren't worth the headaches. Quote
06BaNsHeE Posted March 5, 2008 Author Report Posted March 5, 2008 What troubles with alky?Purging?I dont consider that a problem.I have a six pack rack and I strap an extra tank back their.Everyone has told me it would actually be a Plus for trails except the part of it lasting. Quote
06BaNsHeE Posted March 5, 2008 Author Report Posted March 5, 2008 and Im not the avereage weekend "Cruiser".Pretty much build this bike to drag. Then some trails in between.I drag 80% of the time Quote
