marloncc Posted February 27, 2008 Report Posted February 27, 2008 i just recently bought a banshee (last week). i haven't really had the time to ride it. when i bought everything was working fine. i just started it; and started looking the forums and i could find this problem posted. the thing is that it is smoking a a lot during start up (i know 2 strokers do that, but it does it excessively) and its spitting blank gunk, kinda like oil trough the pipes. hopefully somebody can help me.... thanks Quote

Pull your plugs and see if they are black or if they are a nice chocolate color. Also post your mods and jetting in the jetting forum and get some help getting dialed in. Quote

BellicoseBanshee Posted February 27, 2008 Report Posted February 27, 2008 If it has been that rich for some time, you may want to consider repacking the silencers, for the packing material is probably saturated with oil as well... Quote
