New Guy w/? concerning worth of some Banshee's

What's going on gentlemen? I'm not a Banshee owner, I ride a 06 Raptor 700R. What turned me over to this site is I'm doing some recon work for my buddy that has 2 Banshee's that have just been sitting in his work shop. One Banshee has about $17K in it and the other about $25K. He doesn't ride them anymore and they have just been taking up space. He's looking to sell them and didn't know exactly how much they should go for and So I figured I'd come to the experts and maybe ya'll could give some suggestions. Anyways, any input would be wonderful. Thanks.

We would need a complete list of mods and parts on the bikes to even guess. Unfortunately he will be in for a shock if he truly has that much invested in them, he will be lucky to get a 1/4 of that out of them probably.

Exactly what rubberneck said, he'll be lucky to get any more than 6k for those bikes around in my area, and the Western US is the best place to sell them for the most money. Lets see some pics.

Yea, he's suppose to be putting a list together for me on all the mods. He only expects to get about 1/4 of what he put in them anyways, so I don't think he'll be that disappointed. Money really isn't a thing to him, he's just looking to clear up some shop space, he has 6 quads, and 2 dirt bikes.

ya know.

nowadays, if you just flat out buy a new shee and tear it totally down, you can rebuild a full on guts wild racing shee motor for about 4 grand, plus you can sell your brand new un broken in parts for about $600 id imagine.

Thats what I was thinking, he would make more money and besides he would make alot of people happy...... :thumbsup:

Exactly like man27 said if he cant find anybody to buy it he can always part it out an here on the HQ there are alot of willing buyers who would love to get some good quality used parts, ya its crazy how quads dont hold their value.
