I found it on trinity racings site for $130. Im wondering if it's worth the money and worth installing in my bike. Will I really notice anything?

Theres others who do bearing mods and shift work other than just an override. Theres also shift star mods and a shift pro which help shifting.

so if i put the shift star and shift pro in my bike then i wouldnt need the shift-cam? what exactly does it do?

if you do the modded star and shift pro you wont need the modded cam... it just lets it turn more freely. I got one on my bike and to be 100% honest you cant really tell much of a differance.

 

edit: oh and i have the yakkey version, a little cheaper then trinitys

yea i have the modded star and shift pro in my cub bike1! i couldn't ask for it to shift any smoother or easier!!! if it was any easier it would be a bad thing!!lol get your clutch adjusted right also. it helps with shifting.

We have tried the bearings on the drum and didnt see much difference in shifting ease. We do see a difference with our shift shaft/easy spring mod or modded shift star!! And much cheaper too.
