I would start by saying you need a warm motor for tuning, but with a stock engine (you don't have any mods listed) I'd start with a 330 main jet, 25 pilot ..... :thumbsup:

a stock motor with airbox removed and pipes at sea level and 70-90 temps runs 310 mains 27.5 pilots needle 3rd clip 2.5 turn on air screw.

 

 

stock pipes/silencers....

I didn't mean the 330 main was the fix to your problem it's just a starting point.

You have to jet it rich so you don't melt it down. :banghead:

If the 280's are rich you've got your starting point good luck.... :beer:
