toxic Posted February 15, 2008 Report Posted February 15, 2008 Please Help!!!!!!!!! I have a 95 shee and it will not shift under high revs but as soon as it comes out of the power band I can shift it just fine. I have repaced the basket, clutch, the internal cam that the shifting mechanism works off of and all the internal and external adjusters, the only thing I have not changed is the cable any HELP out there would be nice, cause I am at my wits end. RagunCajun Posted February 15, 2008 Report Posted February 15, 2008 i had the same issue. my clutch wasnt adjustest right. My clutch wasnt able to disengage all the way. Quote
bigboybanshee Posted February 15, 2008 Report Posted February 15, 2008 This can also happen when the claw that grabs the shift star isn't lined up perfect. If memory serves me correct, if you have a little more gap between the top claw and pin on the shift star (which means a little less on the bottom) it'll up shift a little easier. Be careful not to do too much though, because if you do, it'll make it more difficult to downshift. Quote
toxic Posted February 15, 2008 Author Report Posted February 15, 2008 so you think it is the claw and star that is hanging up not the adjustment of the cable, i do appreciate the feedback this bike is really starting to irreate me. More info on what is doing is that sometimes it shifts just perfect and other times not at all, hope that gives you more info on how to help me, I am dying to get to the dunes  Quote
ohiobanshee Posted February 16, 2008 Report Posted February 16, 2008 Check the claw adjustment like bigboy said also check to make sure the points on the claw are not rounded. Quote
