Sweet, that helps out a lot, one more thing is there any special way to line up the claws so that they are in line just right, cause this is the reason I am going to have to redo this procedure, guess this is how you learn how not to do it wrong and that is to do it wrong the first time. HA HA HA HA

Is there anybody out there that may have pics on how to properly align the claws on the shift cam, I put a new one in and it wont shift right. I am told that I may have not aligned it right. I need some pics on how it should look after it is installed the right way since I obviusly dont know how!!!!!!!!! :ninja:

Seen that before. you sure the crank is shot you may be able to have it trued and welded, check it out before you buy a new one. The other guys have good ideas, go port job maybe cool head, or have your head shved down, have the carbs worked on and defintely go with some pipes. I went with LRD pipes because they will give you more mid to high range, but if your looking to just ride trails the toomey t6 is a bad ass pipe. 95 shee bored .60 over lighted flywheel rewound stator dune port milled head

so you think it is the claw and star that is hanging up not the adjustment of the cable, i do appreciate the feedback this bike is really starting to irreate me. More info on what is doing is that sometimes it shifts just perfect and other times not at all, hope that gives you more info on how to help me, I am dying to get to the dunes :biggrin:

Please Help!!!!!!!!! I have a 95 shee and it will not shift under high revs but as soon as it comes out of the power band I can shift it just fine. I have repaced the basket, clutch, the internal cam that the shifting mechanism works off of and all the internal and external adjusters, the only thing I have not changed is the cable any HELP out there would be nice, cause I am at my wits end.

try cleaning your air filter, I had the same problem, I run a k&n filter and it had to much oil on it and it would bog out at idle as soon as I recleaned the filter it runs just fine.
