350BANSHEE350 Posted February 15, 2008 Report Posted February 15, 2008 okay so basics t-5s and pro design air filter kit with lid removed and 3700-4000 feet aboce sea level for 20 degrees celcius i got my main figured out with a 250 but when i have it sitting still in idle and i slam the throttle from dead idle (note i have my idle pretty low, pretty much as low as you can go) it blurs and dies, is this right? i mean from 0% throttle to 100% i would think its normal because thats a big breathe if you know what i mean but if i just tap it to like 1/4 or 1/2 its fine and revs up quite nicely if this is a problem going from 0 to 100 percent idle would i be able to fix this problem by picking up the needle 1 notch or is it pilot jet? i have not had the chance to ride it yet due to snow but should be able to eventually thanks guys Quote
fastbanshee8 Posted February 15, 2008 Report Posted February 15, 2008 Turn your air mixture screws in 1/4-1/2 turn on each carb, and see if that helps. If you end up with the air mixture screws less than 1 turn open, then you will have to go up one size on the pilots, and re-adjust the air mixture screws. Just make sure both air mixture screws are adjusted the same. Quote
