chevy7398 Posted February 16, 2008 Report Posted February 16, 2008 on stock springs you have to unscrew the lower eye and seat off the shaft, for after market shocks you need to compress the spring and the lower seat slides off the shaft Quote

530grafix Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 USE A SPRING PRESS AND REMOVE THE COLAR. NO NEED TO UNSCREW ANYTHING . JUST DID MINE YESTERDAY. Quote
Stellar Performance Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 Every banshee stock front shcok I have ever seen does not have a slip off colar. You will need to unscrew the bottom eye to remove the spring. The rear can be compressed and has a removable colar. Quote
