I still have stock everything except pipes. And Im still thinking real hard about getting the play/dune port from fast while I have the money. My question is (since Im still learning): Do I have to bore it out or can I use the stock pistons and everything still?

Hope thats not a super dumb question but Im still a little confused.

Depends if it needs a rebuild or not. I'm sure jeff will mic the cylinders to see if they're still within spec before he ports them. Any builder should/probably will do that.

well like already said he will measure them to see but chances are he will bore them to the next size after he ports them...most bikes with stock bore and have many hours on them will get bored, its a safe insurance...unless of coarse it hardly has any hours on it, but my guess if your like any of us it doesn't

You may not need a bore, but while you have it apart, if it still has the stock pistons in it, I would throw in a new set as cheap as they are. Thats what I would do anyway. I highly recommend the dune/play port from Jeff. Your bike will come alive.

first time i rebuilt my 05 I had an aggressive dune port from Rob at RBracing. When i put it back together I couldn't belive the increase in power...
