meanv10 Posted February 10, 2008 Report Posted February 10, 2008 I was re jetting my carbs and could not get that cap off that's on top, i eventually did the there is a flat piece of aluminuem that has a tab on the side, dono what its for but it was under the cap. The problem is that on of those tabs broke of the right side and the other is cracking, Is it OK if i leave it like? Thanks. Quote
shee4speed Posted February 10, 2008 Report Posted February 10, 2008 Those tabs are for alignment purposes only I believe. Just get rid of the tors and new carb tops and you'll be all good. Quote

shee4speed Posted February 10, 2008 Report Posted February 10, 2008 as long as the caps are threaded on properly and sealing the tops of the carbs,I'd say run it.Aftermarket tops don't have them tabs. Quote
