sheeblue01 Posted February 7, 2008 Report Posted February 7, 2008 (edited) What is the general consensus on the "ProX" cylinder kits? What about the billet reed cages?? (Eddie Sanders Racing stuff) Edited February 7, 2008 by sheeblue01 Quote
BigRed350x Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 Kinda like the vitos mono block cylinders. They will work for general riders, but if you want any kind of serious power out of them you need to get them ported and some custom domes made. There are some guys on planetsand that run them and say they are ok. CP Industries and Twister both have more modern designs with modern port layouts that will run better for you. If you are trying to save a buck and want an aftermarket monoblock they are ok. If you have the coin, go with a twister billet cylinder setup or cubs/cheetah cylinder. Quote
gumby6t9 Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 ESR stuff is $$$$$$$ but if you got the cash then go for it! Quote
differentstrokes Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 Anything I've ever bought from ESR (4 stroke and 2 stroke) has been great. There may be other products out there that produce a little more power but ESR's whole product line is great quality and their customer service is great too. Quote
