i am going to be powder coating my frame and i need to take out my steering stem bearing and rubber piece does anyone have an easy way of doing this. thought i would ask before i dug into it

Do you have a cylmer..(banshee manual) they tell you how to remove it..

There is a tool I believe also a trick, you would have to do a search for it but you have to buy a bolt and to nuts at turn it out....

Do a search for the size bolt you will need..

Go to autozone and get 2 30mm axle nuts and weld them together conicle to conicle then use a 30mm socket,works like a champ

You just need a large head bolt that fits the internal nut in the frame, then thread a nut onto the bolt and tighten the two together. Stick a wrench on the bolt and nut assembly while in the frame internal nut, and loosen.
