pros and cons of modded shift star

i am looking to do mine also so on the neutral spot do you leave that alone? also whats the reason for leaving the one to the right of the neutral the same instead of rounding it?

You dont need to mod that one because the notch right before it is 6th gear. The detent roller never goes over that peak.

I did the shift star, shift pro, and the alba easy shift cam all at once. It was too easy to shift. I would accidentally bump the shifter and miss gears. I took the star back out and left all the other parts in. Now I am real pleased with the result.

Yeah, i have heard that from some guys that you can have too many mods. Some people recomend the star or the shift pro but not both. Some love both. I am going to try both and then remove one if i dont like it.

Ya, I had boonman mod mine for me a few years ago and I really liked the ability to hit my shifts and be able to hit neutral when the bike is running..............
