ssilverado60 Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 I have a question, when I drain the oil out of my tranny, I can hear air through the carbs while it is draining. if that makes any sense. Is this normal? Ive never noticed it before but I have been having problems since I rebuilt my motor with making top end power. I am not burning trans fluid (that I know of) but am lost as to what is going on here. can anyone recall if this noise is normal or do I have a leak somewhere inside? Quote

Ok 1. you shoud stop smoking crack while changing oil! 2. IS your banshee smoking or any thing? you say you aren't losing oil, are you sure. Also having your filler cap off could make noise. ssilverado60 Posted February 2, 2008 Author Report Posted February 2, 2008 yeah it sounds dumb but i really dont know what else to check. it is not smoking, and it is not low on fluid. and when I drained the oil i hadnt removed the filler cap yet. basically when I am draining or filling the transmission, I can hear air venting through the carbs Quote
xXBlessedWithDeathXx Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 I wouldnt even know where to start to look but thats not good lol. i would have to pull the motor and rip it apart and start over. Quote
