i was thinking the other day. here in canada we still have the banshee in 08 but im not sure whats going on for 09. im sure yamaha has alot of cylinders kicking around in there warehouses but whats going to happen when they all dry up. i know theres alot of options for cub's and big drag motors but is there any aftermarket companys makeing a simmalar to stock cylinder. or maybe even a cylinder that came ported for a 4 mill, with light porting like a dune or trail port.

i dont think so... all the aftermarket that i have seen are more or less for dune/drags..

i think yamaha is going to make the banshee till they run our of parts...

i know ucan still order them OEM from the dealer.... shit even for my zilla that they havent made in 18 years you can buy a new jug from suzuki

yah i guess eh i was thinking you could get them sleved aswell. but it would be cool if a company made some aftermarket cylinders for like MX or agressive trail in a 4 mill apllication.

I can assure you that after they stop making the banshee, you would be able to get the jugs for allot of years to come, especially from Yamaha. I can still buy the last RZ's jugs new from the factory... I talked to Honda SA and they say, after 10 years they discontinue their parts, so they sell what is left, but stop making them after 10 years. I just ordered a 73 Y-boot airbox to carb pipe from a RD250 1973 model and got that!!! (11 days from the Factory in Japan to my doorstep in SA) The frame parts is the first things they run out of... I have my own quad/bike shop and in my experience, no other company can beat Yamaha with older bike spares availability and I am a Suzuki fan, but all the credit to YAMAHA!!
