kevl Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 when i cleaned my carbs i was not sure if i was supposed to oil the slides with anything, so i didnt. when i ran it it ran good but the right side pipe got warm about 5 min faster than the left. and one time it rev real high till we tapped the gas just wondering if the dry slides caused this Quote
locogato11283 Posted January 23, 2008 Report Posted January 23, 2008 sounds like something is sticking or not in correctly. id pull them back apart and make sure everything looks right. no oiling is necessary of the slides themselves but you might check to make sure your cable isnt hanging up anywhere. sky high revving of banshee is not good. sometimes a kill switch wont shut it off if this happens.
