pretty flat way up top would 270s be nice

 

keep in mind its flat up top and it like -10 degreees celsius

 

so i am thinking for +25 degrees celsius that 270 will be nice

 

no airbox lid, and foam filter BTW

I would run 280s and do a plug chop..

well with the 290s in i dropped the needle down a notch so now its on forth clip from blunt end ..

i usually run 3rd clip so i was thinking 270 with the needle back to 3rd position

Fix and change one jetting circuit at a time..especially since the needle and main blend at 3/4 throttle.

Leave the needle in the middle...

 

We run 280 to 290 with similar mods at sea level to 1000 feet. I think 270 is a good place...and as said, do a plug chop, then fine tune your needle.

okay thanks ill pick up some 270s

i would just buy a whole bunch if it was not so much for supid jets here in canada

small like universal cycle is the cheapest place and its 10 bucks for 2 mains and the bigger dealers it is 10 bucks a main

Sounds about right, I ride at 4500-5000 in the summer i run 280 needle in the middle clip, 270 should be real close.

okay go the 270s and they seem great for idle ill have to ride it later though

also dropped the slide and bent the hell out of the needle luckly theybend back easy
