Thanks,just wanted to make sure they were all the same thing.

What is the difference between a genuine keihin jet and one that has "RD" after the jet size? I have some that say 180 with a star or something next to it and some that say 180RD. I am guessing the RD ones are aftermarket ??????

Sounds about right, I ride at 4500-5000 in the summer i run 280 needle in the middle clip, 270 should be real close.
