A little oil is normal. That is what keeps the crank from siezing. Quote
TexasBansheeMan Posted January 14, 2008 Report Posted January 14, 2008 If you had no oil in the bottom then your crank would seize up. The oil in your fuel mix lubes the crank ant topend. Quote
dajogejr Posted January 14, 2008 Report Posted January 14, 2008 Excessive is not good, it either means a bad clutch side crank seal, too rich fuel/air mixture or poorly seated rings. A little is fine...as said, two strokes don't dip in oil...they get it all from their fuel... Quote
