shanYE west Posted January 2, 2008 Report Posted January 2, 2008 Probably one of the more unique exhaust systems out. Very unique sound. Similar power deliver to the T-5 with a lil more on the bottom mid. The chrome finish is pretty nice.. I dont think there is any cons to them at all. Quote
wesw Posted January 2, 2008 Report Posted January 2, 2008 if i were to make a trail/dune motor i would run them. lets just say in the middle of the nite while dune riding i lost my sisters husband out in the middle of the hills rode around, sit on a hill listening to some bikes, hear a wierd sound of pipes and i found him. he had 916. they do sound wicked. Although i expected more lower/mid power from the pipes, they do offer more low-mid power than the t5s. They also have a much smoother power band transition than the t5, but in a drag race the dmc would loose as the t5s has more top end pull. Also the 916 sound pretty sick. Quote

Ive raced a few T5 bikes and beat them all. It always seemed to be top end power that got me the win. Of course porting differences play a huge roll though. My advise is for anybody that thinks they want to try DMC 916's... Get them. I almost guarentee youll love them. The sound, power delivery, and look are top notch. If you want everybody else has got get the T5's or some FMF's. Quote
