petersonprecision Posted December 26, 2007 Report Posted December 26, 2007 when i shift to first or second form neutral at a idle , bike lunges forward and dies , i have to keep it at a fast idle for it to shift . in gear without dying . i have also adjsuted the clutch but it isnt helping , any ideas . Thanks adjust the clutch cable first. Then if that doesnt do it, take the clutch cover off and adjust the clutch there. If you have a clymers, its in there, if you dont, get one. Or download the PDF. Snopczynski Posted December 27, 2007 Report Posted December 27, 2007 if the case arrows line up and the lever is adjusted with about a nickel width of gap, then you want to check oil. Does the bike do it once warmed up. Quote
