mods for $1000

Just came across $1000 and am spending it on my quad. Just wondering what mods I should buy. Wondering what will give me the most power. I'm thinking pipes, filter, jets, and reeds. Would like some suggestions on what to buy to keep me in that dollar range. Thanx guys.

how you gonna go faster if your body is being beat to hell not to mention your bike will be bucking all over.

Timing plate-35

Stock Shaved head-+ or - 50

 

Than you have around 550$ to spend on porting your cylinders and it will be a night and day difference.

Do you guys think that I will keep up with a piped yfz and a piped predator 500 with the above mods? That's what my buddies ride and they smoke me right now.

get used toomeys and a k&n, then id spend the rest on some used a arms and shocks unless you like trying to hang onto a bucking bull

pipes, filters and reeds would definately put you back into the game and shouldn't cost you more then $700 spend the other 300 on some new rubber if your still sportin the stock tires.

Yea your probably not going to go to far with 1g.you would still need to weld your crank another 80$,And some reeds another 200 for vforces or cheaper depending what reeds you get.Just go pipes,Shaved stock head,and timing plate and reeds and you will notice a differecne

power isnt everything , balance and agility are far more supior to power , buy extended a arms 350 good front shocks $$$ depends, extended rear axel 200

and good rubber like shayne said. the cats that think a port job and some fancy chrome pipes are gona put a 450 t oshame got something coming , maybe on pavement and in a streight line . in the woods modern 450s are faster , a stock supspended banshee imo is a dinosaur .

I asumed he was racing in a straight line.

you can always flip the stock rear rims around and they line up about dead even with a +2 front end on a stock axle

Im not picking out a fight here or anything.But If he wants more power to beat 450s I just dont see how suspension will help him.unless were talking about struts and drag aarms.Yea banshee suspension sucks I know that.I just answered his Qs
