Cascade does sell one that has a thin layer of steel in it. It is one big gasket for both cylinders. The thicker the gasket the lower the compression, and the bigger squish your going to have. Quote

Bansh-eman Posted December 12, 2007 Report Posted December 12, 2007 the paper ones are cheap. and like said it will help keep your squish in check. now there are times that you need a thicker base gasket becasue your squish is too tight, but worry about that when the time comes. Quote
jbooker82 Posted December 13, 2007 Report Posted December 13, 2007 I just figured it would be more reusable I bought 6 base gaskets from a guy on ebay that cuts them. Paid 10-15 for the 6 gaskets. Doesnt really get any cheaper than that. I woulnd buy a gasket kit every time you need a couple of base gaskets. josh Quote
