kawiking Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 im getting ready to start sawing of some extra pieces.... i was wondering about making a grab bar like urs badass.. im going to be running inframes so i need the the rear bolt mount, do u think i can chop it off after that mount before the frame goes ro the flat part. and then have somebody make me a grab bar like your and weld the 2 together ??? i really like ur frame.. i just dont want to spend alot of money on a sub frame since my frame has had a rough life.(i need a new one) Quote

I dont see why it would be a problem as long as it was welded real good if you look closely at my sub frame you will see that there are mounts for inframe pipes! I used to run inframe shearers. Quote
kawiking Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 thats what i want to do ,clean it up.. i really dont care about saving wieght. do u all think if i take off the top and lower gussets off the sub frame it will still be safe to ride--drag race-- and also plan on taking off the bar from the motor mounts up. and maybe the bottom piece of metal were the seat goes on the rear. throw me your thought s please. thanks u guys.
