seabass Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 I'll be starting my bottom end very soon. I'll be adding a cool head, honing or boring one over stock. I have FMF pipes and will eventually add V force reeds. Down the line I might get a light trail port. That's about it for motor work. Should I get the crank true and welded or is it only worth it with big horsepower motors. Thanks for the opinions guys. Quote
theshee Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 I would get it done. If you have the bottom end apart, why not do it. It doesnt cost much, and is cheap insurance. If you plan on porting your motor in the future I would get it welded for sure. Quote

wacko2000 Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 Like said above, If you are goin to have the motor opened up, and are thinking about porting down the line, its a no brainer, its def good insurance, I believe i cost like 50 bucks or so...Get her done... Quote
