Maybe im a pussy, but Raking those damn leaves sucks. Normally I would leave them (get it haha "leave them") but all the other people in the town rake them to the curb and the township comes by and vacuums them up, so I feel obligated. Plus it was starting to kill the grass. No I have blisters on my hands from the damn rake. I only have 1 tree but it is pretty damn big. Last year I tried mowing them but it was just a mess.

UUUUGGGH. Damn leaves.

Sorry, Im done now.

There is something worse the raking leaves.... Here in wyoming its gets dry, then late mosiute makes millions and millions of tumble weeds. The wind blows them all over, and they stick in the barb wire fences and destory the fence when the wind blows... We have to pitch every north/ south fence on the ranch with a pitch fork. It sucks when you have miles and miles of fence...

Here are some pics from today...

They stick in the fence like this...

These are covering a creek, about 7 feet of weeds piled up...

I don't really understand this post.

Why do the leaves seem to fall at the same time there? I've never been where you are, but if it is anything like it is here in San Diego with the summer high temp average of 82 and the winter average high at 67, the leaves aren't exactly in a hurry to leave the trees.

Not exactly an extreme climatic change I guess.

Shoot...my lemon tree has over 100 lemons on it in January!! :yelrotflmao:

Winter just means I have to cut the grass more often.

I can't imagine having "miles of fence".... I guess you wouldn't have to travel far to ride.

That would be cool.

I just have a high powered leaf blower. I start at one of the yard blow them into a pile at the other end. Then once there in a pile i put the other attachment on it and suck the leaves into the bag to mulch it. Then dump the bag in the back of the truck and when im done I bring it to the compost dump. LOL no raking here!!!!!!!
