I did a search and couldn't find anything, and the clymers manual might as well be toilet paper. I am in the process of rebuilding the bottom end, and i have all new seals, so i might as well replace all that i can while i am in there, but i can't seem to get the shift shaft seal out, nicely. do i pop it into the case or out of the case, i tried picking it out both ways with a screw driver, but i don't want to cave man it if until i know which way to go.....

it should pop out towards u

can i just grab it with a pair of dykes and rip it out or do i need to force it out from the inside of the case? I really pryed good with the screw driver. I though about putting a bolt threw it threading a nut and i think i can get some leverage that way....
