kimjose15 Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 I just got a banshee and the tranny is stuck in grear the clutch seems to be working fine any sugestions Quote
BellicoseBanshee Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 Might be a problem with the shifting forks and/or shifting drum...I have seen that before... A bent or damaged fork will definately cause problems if not replaced...someone else might have more insight. Quote
jmd0346 Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 Could be the shift shaft. The end that is behind the clutch cover has an arm on it that actuates the shift drum. Sometimes that arm will loosen to the point that it spins around. Quote
inthemail Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 rock it back and forth while GENTLY putting pressure on your shift lever up or down. it may be bound, trying to start it wont help either i have had this problem before when i stalled Quote
