I just lay on my shee and hang off the back to adjust the carrier. I put about 3/4" to 1" of slack on it and seems to be fine...........

I have a -2" stock swinger and it kicks ass. It hooks up so nice and corners 10x better than stock. I reccomend a -2" but I have never tried a -1". The only downside I noticed to it was that the bike isn't as stable at high speeds but you get used to it

I wouldnt go for a tube swinger if your going to be riding trails, or jumping it hard. Also, forgot to add, most swingers don't come with skid plate tabs, so if you want to run a skid make sure the swinger your getting has them.

and yea i saw they chagr eextra for skid plate mounts ( which is a must of course)

Those are unbeatable in quality and price and for what you get theres no questioning it.
