xXBlessedWithDeathXx Posted October 5, 2007 Report Posted October 5, 2007 man that sucks. i had that happen. i put the grinder to the cuffs between the swingarm and the frame. its a tight fit but if you turn the bolt as its cutting. 1/8 at a time it cuts threw. the one i had also spun but it was rusted to the sleeve and wouldnt come out. i cut both sides and the swingarm dropped, then it came out. good luck man. J-Madd Posted October 5, 2007 Report Posted October 5, 2007 Yup, beat the shit out of it..... Replacement parts are in order I've plowed them out with a 10 pound sledge before.. The reason I even purchased the sledge hammer I have today is that damn swingarm bolt. :: Quote
Snopczynski Posted October 5, 2007 Report Posted October 5, 2007 soak it with pb, then air hammer or 1/2" extension with the 3lb sledge. Do yourself a favor and grease the new sleeve and bolt real good. Drill and tap the swingarm and put in a grease zerk on the pivot shaft area. Quote
kaotik1 Posted October 5, 2007 Report Posted October 5, 2007 Use PB blaster for a day or so. Get a atv jack, and take the weight off the rear side of the bike, and drive that bitch home with a punch and 5lb hammer. Quote
