Snopczynski Posted October 3, 2007 Report Posted October 3, 2007 (edited) Well guys, winter has hit and the ol' blue light special is getting some upgrades and changes. 1. Pro Circuit Pipes 2. Custom made Cascade CSFX Silencers 3. Intake match ported 4. Pwk 35 bored to 36mm 5. Match ported the reedcages to the intake Now, Question I have is whats your opinion on this: I took all the cnc cutting flaws out of the inside of my two into 1 trinity intake. I used the porting tool with a jewelers pink polishing stone to do it. Now would you leave the intake sort of rough? Or I was playing with the wire wheel on the porting tool and got it all smoth and polished out in this one area to see what its like. So rough or polished? Edited October 3, 2007 by Snopczynski Quote
Bansh-eman Posted October 3, 2007 Report Posted October 3, 2007 (edited) your intake should stay rough. just remove any casting flaws... it aids in atomization of th fuel. but you can polish the exhaust side Edited October 3, 2007 by Bansh-eman Quote
Snopczynski Posted October 3, 2007 Author Report Posted October 3, 2007 So even though this is before the reed cages it still needs to be rough? Quote
locogato11283 Posted October 3, 2007 Report Posted October 3, 2007 rough on the intake and smooth on the exhaust! Quote
Bansh-eman Posted October 3, 2007 Report Posted October 3, 2007 oh your talking about the reed cages? i thought you where talking about the intake track after the cages... id make the cages smooth. Quote
