Here they are... -"i have a set 625 plus shipping they will come with the rear tires but not the front 80% left on rear.i have all black rings and i have some orange all rings included " -"I have a set of slightly used Hipers with Kenda Klaw MXR's on them that I would be willing to sell for $700 the tires have about 90% tread on them and I will say that the beadlocks have a few minor scuffs on them, nothing major. They are all black in color." I was thinking that the first one was the best deal. I could also get a brand new set for $700 from somebody else. If anybody has any they want to get rid of just let me know. The fronts have to be honda bolt pattern though. And I also dont want 10" rears. Quote
peterlocal22 Posted October 2, 2007 Report Posted October 2, 2007 i love my hipers there awsome. the only problem i found w them was when i wanted to change tires. i dont have a beedbreaker so i had to bring them into my local shop to get the old tires off and the new ones on. it cost me 80 bucks just to do the the fronts. i was pissed. im going to buy a beadbreaker after that exp. and hopefully i can do it myself. so make sure if you buy them used that you like the tires or you have a beadbreaker. otherwise its going to cost you $$$. good luck and let us know what you get. LiftdT4R Posted October 2, 2007 Report Posted October 2, 2007 I paid 700 for mine with Holeshot HDs, they were used like 1 or 2 rides, and they look brand spankin new. Both deals sound pretty decent. I know some people are trying to get the new style Hipers which are a little lighter, so you'll probably see the older style ones go down in price a bit. Pete, $80 to change 2 tires??? If you pull the bead lock ring off the one side you only have to break one bead. I usually get one of my buddies to stand on the tire, and I'll stand on the rim and it should break the bead loose. On cheap rims I'll just run over the tire with my truck. Quote
peterlocal22 Posted October 2, 2007 Report Posted October 2, 2007 (edited) Ya I got ripped off big time. they quoted me a price of 50 bucks to remove the old tire from the front hipers and to put the two new tires on. I evan had the rings already removed. i needed it done for the following day so i could go riding so i told them i thjought that was steep but go for it. they then call me later that day and tell me the new tires are on but theres a leak because the tires arent sitting right. i say ok fix it, thinking this is their problem because they put the tires on. go to pick them up and they added 30 bucks to fix the leak. they tried for another 50 but finally said 30 would ok. i had the other tires on the hipers for two years no problems. anyways i bring them back home to find out none of the bolts were torqued to specs even though i told them countless time what needed to be toqued. they said ya ya ya we know. Egay is a ripoff, they're charging the same on the CF1's as the tech3's. Im just wanting to look around before I buy something that costs so much just to look a week later and see some others for half the price. Quote

Definitely go with the Tec3's, the warranty is better on them since the have the billet center. The CF1's aren't are al ittle lighter but not as strong. Quote
