air cleaner foam

I am trying to find just the foam that attaches to white air cleaner cage. That seals the cage to the air cleaner housing. My dealer says have to order the hole cage but I can't believe I am the only one to have the foam break down. Hope some body knows where I can get it I would really appreciate it.

just put the money towards a k&n or somthing similar, i dont no anyone who would waste there time or money trying to replace the stocker

I have k & n came with quad though does the plastic piece that slides into air box come from k & n. I thought it was stock. I need something to seal filter mount to inside of air box.

No, the plastic piece with the foam on the front, is a stock part, but it's probably been modified, so that the K & N will attach to it. You need this part, select Yamaha, Pro-Flow Filter kit, and scroll down, and look for banshee K & N filter plate only.

My girlfriends Banshee still has the stock air fliter set-up and the foam around the white cage had ripped. I cut/scraped the old stuff off and bought some foam tape from Home-Depot that is very similiar. Hope this helps, Nate
