locogato11283 Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 i just bought the longest one i could from RMATV. and i bought 2 master links. then whatever i need i just cut off another chain and put in there. ive never had an issue with 2 master links and it allows me to be able to make large adjustments to the chain for different gearing if theres not enough adjustment in the carrier. hope this helps.. Yamahammer Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 they are called chain splitters not cutters it can be done with a grinder as well grind off the out side of one of the pins but the chain splitter is the way to go. they are only about 20 bucks i think. Quote
