i just get a set of barely used 2006 banshee front and rear shocks. i want to have them all adjusted b4 i slap them in this weekend. i am just a casual trail rider, no crazy jumping, and i weigh like 265#. what would be the best settings?

Stock shocks don't have much to adjust. You will need to just turn the body to full pre-load. I would suggest a set of works or something cheaper with more adjustabilty. If you want to concider something like that I have a set of triple rates, that will work out great for you.

ok so turn the spring tension all the way down. what about the black thing and the thing on the bottom? which is rebound and which is damping and how should the be adjusted? there is no adjustments on the front shocks correct?
