cde Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 hey everyone, great forum. i know i need to do a lot of reading to become familiar with this platform, im a bike guy, and im obsessed with par twin motors. i want a dirtbike/dual sport that will perform and not be a thumper, so why not put a killer motor, from everything ive seen and read, into a bike frame. tell me why this wouldnt work, or would it and i havent seen any banshee 2 wheelers... lemme know what you think. look forward to hearing what people have to say. Oh, and making it street legal, if thats infact what you want to do would be tough. Quote

Oh, and making it street legal, if thats infact what you want to do would be tough. im a street fairy and the dirt world, aside from bmx, is all clicks and whistles to me for the most part. im not interested in the legality, just the function the rz streetbikes always go for a mint, and im looking to build something barebone, almost a dual sportbike but DIRT based streetfighter. RZBansheeMan Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 These are hard to come by here in the states, but are plentiful in Canada. Check into the WR 200 / DT 200, if I am not mistaken they are a dual sport bike with a liquid cooled / powervalved (YPVS) version of the Blaster engine. I think you can get upwards of 250cc out of those or you probably could stuff a Banshee / RZ 350 engine in it. Quote
