snowmanzz13 Posted September 2, 2007 Report Posted September 2, 2007 i have to run a whip type flag with a square at the top, my problem is i've tried to do this but i have always had issues with it coming off, i can never seem to get one to hang on when i'm flyin down the levee or w/e. i see all these people out there duning with flags bent all the way over and when the stop it's still there!! i just don't get it lol, i cant get mine right, so basically i'm asking how do you secure it to your banshee? where'd you get it and do you have pics of it Quote
Handyman Posted September 2, 2007 Report Posted September 2, 2007 Try a flag holder. Flag holder bolts to the rear grab bar and the flag goes into the flag holder. Quote

snowmanzz13 Posted September 3, 2007 Author Report Posted September 3, 2007 well i know my motorcycle/atv stores here don't have them as they just started carring flags when the rule was established so i'll be looking on line for one, thanks for the replies handyman Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 Stiffy makes a good product. Good whip & holder. The whip is thicker than the norm + has a light on top. The whip is also heat wrapped! Quote
Bansh88 Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 Your whip should have come with hardware to mount. Stock bolts suck when you break your whip. I run the RIS quick release. Best on the market in my opinion. Quote

snowmanzz13 Posted September 4, 2007 Author Report Posted September 4, 2007 where'd you guys get those, all the ones we have here seem to be thin compared to what you have and if you hit it the wrong way the pole breaks right at where it goes into the mount, which of course isn't reusable, the ones we have here are basically the flags you buy from wally world for little kids bicycles Quote
