So I got the T6's for my '02 shee a while back. I drilled holes in the airbox lid, apparantly in a place that didn't help at all, and 'jetted' it. It still ran like crap. I've been trying to jet it for a very long time now (almost sold it twice from frustration), and just now thought "Hey, what would it run like if I just took the lid off?"

So I did. Wow.

Before, I was getting beat by my friend on his YFZ by about 1 1/2 bikes up a 100 yard hill. He got cocky, pissed me off, and I got even more frustrated. So I called him after my little air box lid deletion for another trip to the dunes. So, all cocky like, he rode a wheely over to the line, as I putted over, then proceeded to smoke him 6 times in a row.

In front of his girlfriend.

I'm adding on some V Force 3's, hopefully they'll give me a little more kick, too.

I just ordered the Pro Design adapter w/ K+N filter as well as a pre-filter for the box. Right now, all I've got is the dual stage Toomey foam filter that came with the T6's wrapped around the stock white plastic filter frame. The thing runs damn good now, and the plugs are a nice tan color. Right on the money. I am ordering a set of the V-Force 3 reeds/cages, so hopefully those won't be much harder to jet for. The Toomey booklet says that their jetting specs (what I have it at right now) are "perfect" for their pipes, with stock OR V-Force 3 reeds. Can anyone vouche for that?

Oh yeah, to hold the Toomey filter in place during my trip to the dunes, I tapped two sheet-metal screws through the white plastic cage into the air box itself to hold it in place....works well. It's just that the foam seal around the stock filter cage is deteriorating, and the O-ring setup would be much better.
