Unless it's crisco or mazola... 32:1 is fine. Everyone has their own favorite oil to run...so...here ya go... Quote
letsgetthisdone Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 unless you raise your compression, i see no need to run 50/50 pump/race fuel... Quote

dajogejr Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 And timing... Compression and timing are the main factors in the need for race gas. Compression more so than timing! Get a good quality gauge, see where it's at...and let us know... Quote

Snopczynski Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 you can run about 6 degrees of timing and 130 psi compression on 92 octane fuel. Quote

And what is "fmf spec"? As far as I am concerned, you can throw fmf suggestions out the window. They are a baseline and a poor one at that. I would run (insert your favorite brand name of oil here) at a 32:1 ratio depending upon your mods. Post up all your mods. Quote

blue devil quad Posted August 21, 2007 Author Report Posted August 21, 2007 Absolutely hilarious (and true)! :yelrotflmao: ok i have a shaved head,vforce3 reeds, 15frt-39rear,fmf sst set up, stage 2 jet kit with 270s main and i use yamalube with super unleaded 93 at 24:1 Quote
Snopczynski Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 (edited) Whats the compression? A shaved head with 130 psi is not very healthy. You dont need to run race gas with that kind of compression. So, if thats what it actually is then you will be ok on 93 octane. Something doesn't add up here though.
