highroller355 Posted August 4, 2007 Report Posted August 4, 2007 do run 93 pump full race fuel or 50/50. what type of race fuel to run [/quot 50/50 would be fine Quote
370banshee Posted August 4, 2007 Report Posted August 4, 2007 i have heard (not sure if i agree with it) that when you mix a lower octane fuel with a higher octane fuel you don't get a "middle ground" you in fact get the lower octane.. the way it was explained to me i guess does make sense.. that as the lower ocatne fuel burns the higher burns it too burns the higher octane fuel at an accerated rate... RIPPEN Posted August 4, 2007 Report Posted August 4, 2007 Thats about the same compression I have.. I run 111 and 91.. This was recomended by a builder and runs great.. RIPPEN Quote
370banshee Posted August 4, 2007 Report Posted August 4, 2007 split the 91 and 111.. it comes out to 100... this is the reason i've leaned toward the av100ll... samne end result and less money... plus you don't have to deal with the crap thats in pump gas. i used to mix pump and race fuels too Quote

Snopczynski Posted August 5, 2007 Report Posted August 5, 2007 Thats kind of low compression for an 18cc dome, what is your elevation? How about your dome squish? Quote
theeechozen1 Posted August 5, 2007 Report Posted August 5, 2007 all my riding buddies with 18cc domes run 100LL with no problems. It is oxygenated and I have had some guys tell me it can lean your bike out...think about getting a bigger radiator as it will help to combat detonation too  Quote
370banshee Posted August 5, 2007 Report Posted August 5, 2007 i run it all the time in all my machines.. even my pw50 pitbike.. never had a problem with lean conditions.. i have heard that it's oxygenated.. but so is the real expensive race fuel Quote
