flipcarre Posted July 23, 2007 Report Posted July 23, 2007 Hey guys, I have a problem with my kick start, it's nothing too serious but. I took it off because it was ratteling (sp) and i put a small rubber washer on the bottom to stop the noise. Then i noticed it didnt work so i took it off and put the kicker back on. Now when ever i turn left the kicker comes out and jabs me in the leg, it just moves freely now. I dont know what to do to get the resistance back. Quote
okbeast Posted July 23, 2007 Report Posted July 23, 2007 Buy a rebuild kit, or you can just put a new o-ring in and not pay $10. Quote
tyguy Posted July 24, 2007 Report Posted July 24, 2007 did you put the spring and ball bearing back in it? Quote
tmac20031 Posted July 24, 2007 Report Posted July 24, 2007 (edited) Well, the internals in the kicker obviously have gone bad. It should click into place. Im not sure where you can get a rebuild kit but Im pretty sure you can find the o.e.m. parts to fix it at bikebandit.com. HERE Edited July 24, 2007 by tmac20031 Quote

flipcarre Posted July 26, 2007 Author Report Posted July 26, 2007 Found out what it was, when i took the kicker off the ball bearing came out and i didnt realize it. So then i looked on the floor and found it, noticed the spring was broken, got a new one from the shop and now it works like a charm. Thanks for the help guys, always good to have someone helping. Quote
