no actually other members informed me that there is a bead of silicon inside. I took it apart and sure enough the silicon came off. I was informed instead of putting a bead of silicon to put jb weld and i wont have any probs so thats what i did. However instead of putting it back on bike i really dont want it. All i have is pipes a cool head, reeds, a filter, and +4 timming and there is really no need for a lockup. I had planed on stroking it and everything but now plans have changed and im going to leave the bike as is. So the cover is no longer leaking to my knowing. Im going to do a leak test as soon as the jb weld sets completely

i understand no prob. trust me in retro spect i would of def. of got the direct drive seeing that theirs is a diecast piece. I mean the cover i have now from modquad only has but 10-15 hours on it. Its a decent piece just wish it was diecast. But that not that big a deal i honestly just dont need a lock up and could use the 100 dollars toward some new tires that are just spinning when i trail ride.
