papa_smurf49319 Posted July 24, 2007 Report Posted July 24, 2007 Ya i just bought the knarlys for the rear on douglas quad roks and klaws in the fronts on quad roks, because locogato and a couple other guys said they were a good tire. They hook up awesome and i couldnt be happier. I picked up a set of tires and rims for my buddy while i was at magic racing when i got mine. He got holeshot gncc's front and rear on itp t9's and i hook just as good as he does and i paid less for my tires. Plus his is a way softer compound. Dont get me wrong the gncc's are a great tire and look great also. But my kendas hook just as good, are a harder compound, and were cheaper. Quote
TurboBanshee420 Posted July 24, 2007 Report Posted July 24, 2007 razr2's are grippy and wear long but they are a bit heavy. I run holeshot xcr's on the front (21") and a set of 22" kenda klaw xc's on the rear. good tires for trails but not to heavy, also last me a while, and they are cheap. whole set for under $230. I only moved up to the big rears because I got a set of double bead lock 10" hipers. But for such a big tire they are still way easier to holeshot with than the ITP tires out there. All you really need to worry about is cost, size, and most importantly 6 PLY.... Everyone rides different dirt! Make your own choice for whats best on your trails. Quote
