dajogejr Posted July 22, 2007 Report Posted July 22, 2007 I assume you mean stock stroke cub jetting? Start with 160 mains, CEL needle middle clip, 50 pilots. Lean out from there... Quote
locogato11283 Posted July 22, 2007 Report Posted July 22, 2007 160 main for sure but i think 50 pilot will be too much. i say start with 45. Quote
wesw Posted July 22, 2007 Report Posted July 22, 2007 i take it you havent got your jetting issues solved?? whats it doing still?? Quote
clary Posted July 23, 2007 Author Report Posted July 23, 2007 I have 150 mains, 45 pilot, cgl needle in middle. I've tried 165's down to 145's. It sputters through the gears and then falls on its face in 5th gear. Its not a lean sputter. I have a pingle to so I really dont think its sucking the bowls dry. It ran good for a long time with the 150's. Starting to think its electrical but not sure.. About ready to say hell with it and take it to jeff, if he's got time. Quote
dajogejr Posted July 24, 2007 Report Posted July 24, 2007 Is this the same bike phatboyz on Planet Sand is asking about as well?? Quote
J-Madd Posted July 24, 2007 Report Posted July 24, 2007 I run 165 mains, 45 (or maybe 48) pilots, and needle (not sure which one) in the middle in 35 mm PWKs in my stock stroke Cub. elev:300 ft, temp: 90. It's a little rich on the needle or mains, and perfect on the pilots. Don't know if jets would be similar for 33 mm carbs or not. Quote
