macgillivary Posted July 18, 2007 Report Posted July 18, 2007 Hey I know its the wrong forum, had this topic on the jetting forum for a day, no replies, i know this section is more popular so i tryed in here Anyways I got a set of pod filters for my banshee but dont know where to start for a main jet. I got fmf pipes, shaved head, wolf cdi, mild port, stock carbs, everything else stock, at sea level I was thinking like a 320-340ish or so but I wanted to ask before I go wasting money on jets, tight on money these days lol. Thanks Yes, 340 would be a good starting size. Better to be just a bit rich as opposed to too lean. Quote

Better to be just a bit rich as opposed to too lean. i put 300s in with my pods with t5's and it ran so rich it fell on its face, and was fallowing plugs left and right. I ended up putting 270s in and it runs good now.. i guess every machine is different Quote

Thanks every shee is different, i'm at 360 at sea level ...340 should be close enough to do a plug chop what are you switching form filter & jet wise? Quote
